Whoo Ha: Busta Rhymes Arrested for Assault
Busta Rhymes was arrested and arraigned on assault charges and criminal possession of a weapon today stemming from an August 12th incident in New York City.
The details of the incident have not been disclosed, but some sources report that Busta assaulted a man for spitting on his car. His attorneys, record label, and the police have been pretty tight-lipped about the event.
Busta’s bouncer was killed earlier this year outside the set for the music video for “Touch It”, but the rapper has refused to cooperate with the police regarding that incident. The officers used today’s arrest to interrogate him about both incidents.
